For the satay with pork, cut the meat into 5 cm long narrow strips. Mix all the other ingredients together.
Pour the mixture over the meat and let it sit for 2 hours.
For the sauce, heat the coconut milk over medium heat, then add red chicken soup, peanut butter, curry paste and sugar.
Stir for 5-6 minutes, adding tamarind juice, fish sauce and salt.
Thread the meat onto the skewers. Brush with oil, grill on broiler or possibly in preheated oven for about 3-4 minutes.
Turn skewers occasionally to the other side until meat is golden brown and cooked. Bring the satay with pork with satay sauce to the table.

Instead of satay with pork, you can make satay skewers with other meats.
