For the chocolate nut cake, melt the magarine and chocolate in a saucepan, separate the eggs and beat the egg whites until stiff. Cream sugar, egg yolks and chocolate-magarine mixture.
Then add the nuts, flour and baking powder and mix well. Then fold in the snow. Grease a cake pan with magarine and then flour it. Bake the chocolate nut cake at 160° for about 50 minutes.
Preparation Tip:
Sprinkle the finished chocolate nut cake with sugar before serving or cover with a homemade chocolate glaze (chocolate glaze: 50 g magarine, 80 g chocolate and a dash of rum).
