Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Make pasta al dente and drain. Cook the cauliflower al dente. Saute onions and garlic in hot oil until soft and mix with cauliflower in a baking dish.

Melt butter (I) in a large saucepan. Pour in flour and stir for 1 minute. gradually pour in milk and heat, stirring throughout, until sauce boils and thickens. Later remove from heat, stir in cheese (I) and basil. Add cauliflower mixture and pasta to sauce form and stir well.

Form everything together in a high gratin dish. Turn bread cubes in butter (Ii) to the other side and spread evenly over casserole. Sprinkle with cheese (Ii) and bake in the oven for 35-40 min until golden.
