Butter, sugar and chocolate are stirred in a saucepan on the stove top until smooth. Add the almond kernels (or possibly hazelnuts) grated with the shell, stir until cold.

Gradually add the egg yolks, salt, egg whites beaten to snow, flour and baking powder.

Pour the mixture into a greased loaf pan and bake over medium heat. Bake at 175 degrees for about 45-60 minutes.

Preparation Tip:

For your chocolate bread, of course, you can use other nuts. Try walnuts!
